Nếu như họ (những kẻ vô đức tin) phủ nhận Ngươi (Thiên Sứ Muhammad) thì quả thật các vị Thiên Sứ trước Ngươi cũng đã bị phủ nhận (giống như vậy) mặc dù họ đã mang đến biết bao bằng chứng rõ rệt cùng với Kinh Zabur và Kinh Sách rõ ràng, minh bạch.
“They brought clear evidence, books of wisdom, and the enlightened scripture”
The first reading has the preposition bā’ only with the first noun, and the others are genitive by conjunction. The second reading has the bā’ repeated for all the nouns, which is more emphatic.

“They brought clear evidence, as well as books of wisdom and the enlightened scripture”
In this reading, the bā’ is repeated for the second noun, and the third is conjoined without it. This may indicate a clearer distinction between the two categories: ‘clear evidence’ in the form of miracles, and the scriptural guidance brought by the Prophets.
