اتخذناهم سخريا ام زاغت عنهم الابصار ٦٣
أَتَّخَذْنَـٰهُمْ سِخْرِيًّا أَمْ زَاغَتْ عَنْهُمُ ٱلْأَبْصَـٰرُ ٦٣
أَتَّخَذۡنَٰهُمۡ
سِخۡرِيًّا
أَمۡ
زَاغَتۡ
عَنۡهُمُ
ٱلۡأَبۡصَٰرُ
٦٣
Aqueles dos quais escarnecíamos? Ou, acaso, escapam às nossas vistas?

“Did we really take them as a laughing-stock?”
These two readings contain an interrogative hamzah. There are two linguistic forms for the accusative word.
