قالوا تقاسموا بالله لنبيتنه واهله ثم لنقولن لوليه ما شهدنا مهلك اهله وانا لصادقون ٤٩
قَالُوا۟ تَقَاسَمُوا۟ بِٱللَّهِ لَنُبَيِّتَنَّهُۥ وَأَهْلَهُۥ ثُمَّ لَنَقُولَنَّ لِوَلِيِّهِۦ مَا شَهِدْنَا مَهْلِكَ أَهْلِهِۦ وَإِنَّا لَصَـٰدِقُونَ ٤٩
قَالُواْ
تَقَاسَمُواْ
بِٱللَّهِ
لَنُبَيِّتَنَّهُۥ
وَأَهۡلَهُۥ
ثُمَّ
لَنَقُولَنَّ
لِوَلِيِّهِۦ
مَا
شَهِدۡنَا
مَهۡلِكَ
أَهۡلِهِۦ
وَإِنَّا
لَصَٰدِقُونَ
٤٩
Dissero, giurando fra loro [in nome] di Allah

: «Attaccheremo di notte, lui e la sua famiglia. Poi diremo a chi vorrà vendicarlo: “Non siamo stati testimoni dello sterminio della sua famiglia

. Davvero siamo sinceri”».

“we shall attack him by night...then we will say”
